11.18.2015 Homework 9 has been posted. It includes more practice problems.

11.12.2015 Homework 8 has been posted. Due date has been moved from Monday to Wednesday, since we really need an additional lecture to wrap up ch-8 topics. Working seriously on this assignment before Monday will help you when I lecture on it. Also, as discussed in class last Monday, I will be posting summary notes on differential equations along with ch-8 lecture notes. Both of these should be useful for the current homework assignment, and should be available by tomorrow.

11.07.2015
Homework 7 has been posted.

11.02.2015
Tutors will conduct a review session between 10am to 11am in Jack's Lounge on Tuesday 11.03.

10.31.2015
The lecture notes on capacitors and inductors have been posted.

10.29.2015
Homework 6 has been posted

10.22.2015
Homework 5 has been posted. I will post the lecture notes from this past week by Friday. For Monday, please study ch-5. I will finish op-amps and begin ch-6 dealing with capacitors and inductors.

10.20.2015
We will review Ch-4 on Wednesday and begin Ch-5, Op-amps.

10.16.2015
Homework 4 has been revised to exclude question #5. I will discuss this in class next week.

10.15.2015
Homework 4 has been posted.

For Monday please study Ch-4. Use the summary at the end in sec 4.11 as a check on topics you should know and understand. Omit sec. 4.9 (Verifying Circuit Theorems with PSPice).

10.10.2015
Lecture notes have finally been completed and posted from last week. Also I will be taking the lecture this Monday instead of Patrick as noted on 10.09 and announced in class.

10.09.2015
Homework 3 is now finally posted. It consists of three problems. Addressing the first two will benefit from having my lecture notes from Wednesday. I'll finish getting these in order, amending them to reflect discussions I've had with some of you since Wednesday, and scan and post them tomorrow morning. On Monday Patrick will be introducing Nodal and Mesh analysis from Ch-3.

10.08.2015
Homework 3 will be posted later today. It will be due next Monday.

Tutors have been added to the teaching staff and listed above. I have set aside Tuesday's between 2 and pm for office hours specifically for the three classes I'm teaching this quarter (EE101, EE174 and E129A). I will add any additional times that staff, TA's or Tutors may set up as soon as I know what they are.

At the first class meeting we discussed the possibility of having a forum on this website. A fair number of the class indicated this might be useful, so I'm going to set one up later today.

10.03.2015
Lab-1 has been placed in the Laboratory Notes & Papers folder and will also be available on our eCommons site. With the exception of the Monday section, students should study this lab ahead of time and be prepared to start this week.

9.23.2015
This site is under construction.
